I am a shadow...
as such I can only survive where there is light...
as my light grows, I become larger, darker...
As I grow, I show how much brighter my light can shine...
Its sad that's you don't write anymore. You've hardly written anything since I met you...you've hardly written anything for me. I had hoped you'd write to me more.
Yes, you made perfect sense! "what is, just, is" that's exacly what it. Thank you for liking my poem. Rage (Flames to Ignite) was a perfect poem, meaning...when i wrote it, i didn't edit it alt all, it fell perfectly on paper. Weird how that sometimes happens...anyway...i hope to be geting to your poems very soon!
THANK YOU!!! i'm so glad someone liked Judgment enough to favorite it, i figured it would pis a bunch of people off. Religion poems are always fun because to me they seem to have a more lasting effect on people reguardless of their own personal religious standings.
To explain my lack of poems, i was simply pissed at the world. all my last 5 poems got screwed up by some weird copy/paste glitch and therefore ended up with no comments, not even a "what's with the numbers?" comment, oh well though. life goes on in the spiral!
but now that i have someone(YOU) that wants to actually read my work, i will be more adament about my posting habits.
AND...i will be reading your poems too. I'm doing all this posting and replying during my web design class so i have to be a bit devious[>;)] or i'll get in trouble. again.
So thanks for the commetn and the fave!!!
Hi Brandon Many thanks for your kind words on my poem. Its a sad reflection that we are classed as this or that or a yob or bore or a drunk or another category instead of who we really are and thats very sad indeed. My poem as you rightly say reflects that and the hope of the poem is that perhaps one day we will be seen for who we are not what they think we are. Best Wishes Colin Douglas
