Thanks for remembering! I'm leaving for the Ranch tomorrow for two weeks. Everybody loves my smoked Ham, so I'm smoking a large ham today to take out there.
Hey, thanks for coming by, and for your comments on "Raindrops"! I'm flattered too that you posted your "Birthday Song" in your journal!! Happy birthday pretty lady!!
Thanks for commenting on "The Bluebirds Morning Song"! We have Robins here too, and they are always a cheerful sight! Morning and evening seems to be their favorite time too!
I keep out bird feeders, with one at ground level in the back yard, purposely so the ground feeders like Doves can easily get to it. I have a lot of shrubbery, and have a family of Cottontail Rabbits (4 in all) that live here, and also a family of squirrels. We have both Mourning Doves and Mexican White Wing Doves; the White Wings like it here so well, they don't even migrate south; rather, they winter right here in the yard. I think they think this is the Dove Garden of Eden! The shrubbery and feeders attract and keep a variety of birds also, so I have a lot of feathered company around here.
