BTW, I liked Snippets, but it won't let me comment on it. I completely disagree with the last commenter, who seemingly took great offense at a simple exercise. The ability to put together a simple thought, much less a profound one, from random sentences is a valid poetic drill in my mind, and intriguing ta-boot. I liked the calm that it inspired, the monk like dedication to ceasing the voices that endlessly course through us. and I like vague-ish poetry that seems dissonant and discordant, yet can be molded to fit different meanings, so in that I think you succeeded quite well.
I don't know what poetry means to you, but the last commenter seemed to think it had one concrete definition that everyone should abide by...I totally disagree.
Hey, I never thanked you for your comments on Fiction, Nonfiction. So...thank you. It's one of those that probably only works in my head, but eh, so be it. That's really all I go for anymore.
i had a girl who was on HBO Def Poetry come stay at my place while she was in NZ
i'd never heard of poetry jam before i encountered her. i think itd be incredible to be able to do such a thing!
anyways... good luck making friends with the boy. i think sometimes being friends is quite an impossible task coz theres remnants of more than friends that dance round the edges of everythng he says to you and you say to him whether you want them to dance or not... you know?
