Firstly, I'd like to thank you for reading and commenting on my poem, 'Venus'.
Seems as if all the interest in poetry has vanished, all of the sudden. I rarely find people critiquing on my poems, at eliteskils, these days.

I'm sure you are no less.
However, the poem is purely written out of imagination.
Thanks for the comments on August 28th. Emmett Till was murdered in 1955 for allegedly whistling at a white woman in a convinience store. His death and the viewing of his body helped spark the civil rights movement.
I was thinking how everything and everyone is connected and how those connections affect each of us; that sometimes we all need to let go to express ourselves. In doing so the moon shines brighter on us or at least we feel so. Thanks for your comments. - Jim
