I'm finally done with my contract with the army. Mackenzie and Michael Jr. I will be home this month and I promise I am gonna make up for lost time. I miss you both so much. I was a good soldier but unfortunately sometimes that made me a bad father. I hope in time that you will be able to forgive my absence. I hope some day you will understand why I did it. I know right now you are just too young.
well poetry really doesn't have anything to do with being alone per se. it could be any emotion really. poetry isn't always motivated by a negative emotion, but yea, true, most poems are that way but they usually read as a venting. i normally just think of someone and put myself in their shoes and think how they feel then write from there. but thanks for the comment.
