Hello, I was hoping to comment on your poem "Fox in Locks" but the box to do so was missing so I'd figured I'd put my comment here instead.
This was a very fun poem which makes me think twice about your classification of this poem into the serious category. You played excellently with the word sounds and meanings. Though honestly, somewhere in the middle of the "And the lion chatter lingers" paragraph I stopped caring what the words meant and just let myself enjoy the sounds. It made your all capitalized "AND" that much more satisfying. I found this piece as a wonderful reminder of how poetry can be used as a game, rather than as a tool to address one's angst-iest thoughts. I truly hope you've had as much fun writing the piece as others are reading it!
Hey there, thank you for taking such a serious interest in one of my poems. I do like the format you chose to go with, as well as SOME of the changes to you made in regards to the wording and such... some not so much but that's fine :) I'm glad you found it moving, and I appreciate you expressing that so openly with me.
Thank you so much for your kind comment on my poem! That was just a short one-off one, I didn't think it was that amazing, but I'm certainly glad you did. I have self-published one book of poetry so far, and I am busily writing and stockpiling poems for work on another.
