Sup man, me Richard, finally got this conflabbed thing workin. Dunno how to "stalk" you on this site however, or how to edit my page. Shit you think I'd be smart enough to figure this out.
Well I thank thee for adding my work to the collection of your favorites. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I found it interesting that you interpreted my 'it' as destiny. It does make for a powerful write, but I actually never thought of that. Hence the beauty of poetry, it can be interpreted in many ways. I was actually just focusing on the act of writing itself, and how ideas escape one. And how, because of the process of write itself, writing is like a grand love-hate relationship because you must twist, smoothen, sharpen, narrow, take apart, crush, and beat those ideas until they come out as what the author believes as 'good writing.' We love our thoughts yet hate them because they could be better. That's what I was thinking at the time I wrote 'Writer's Block.' But thank you so much for your insight!! I appreciate it alot.
hey
thanx for your comment on my diminuendo
ive written a lot about the boy i wrote that piece about... i loved him... he ended his life... 3 years ago now. its been interesting to see the progression of words and writings since his death and the way my grief has turned into something else and the way i am able to remember him in my words in a new way... yup...that piece was written on his birthday.
im gonna stop rambling now but thanx
nice to see you back here
