I revised and updated a new poem. Please let me know what you think, before I publish it?

"Color Me"

Joy comes in the mourning, when you color me true
You color me well, when you color me blue
Crimson red sunset reflects
in indigo eyes
Orange blossoms planted
in soft maple hair
Lavender sky dancing
on sugar plum clouds
Olive green corn stalks resting
on a Kansas farm
Curious black crows
wake a wan scarecrow
Ruby red slippers click
drag me kicking home
If you color me bright, then you color me bold
Paint me some new colors, love, just green and gold

The poem titled, "Waters Edge" is a magical and surreal type poem. The idea came from tragic deaths between Romeo and Juliet. This poem developed legs, arms and feet which stands on its own. The poem has a personality that I cannot control. Again, this poem is symbolic liturature and I do not advocate anyone committing suicide.

Thanks you for the warm and generous comments. In the future, I plan to give my poetry some deeper thought and research, before post. Keep sharing.
