So I was just (narcissistically) looking at some of my old poems on ES, and I noticed your comment on my piece "Up Ahead." It is simply one of the most thoughtful, in depth, and right-on comments I've ever received on any utterance that has ever come out of my mouth or brain. So thank you and thank you again.
You are welcome for the comment. And I am grateful for the comment. Thanks for putting so much time into it. I'm glad it came across properly.
The word "astounding" I had originally left out of the piece, but it felt like the most fitting in meaning. I'm pretty sure you're right to say it stands out a bit. But personally, I think "infinite" does too. =S But if you do get any other ideas, or definitely if I do, I'll replace it.
As for the apostrophe isn't it supposed to be the apostrophe of possession. You see I hate this, it's always happening to me. That's what I get for learning English in Britain where they don't teach grammar. In fact, I'm pretty sure teaching grammar is a new thing.
