    Journal: HELP!
    -------------------------------------------
    Mood: HELP!

I want to Edit my personal "my page" information. But I can't figure out how. Seems like I have investigated every little spot of this page, still, no matter how hard I try I just don't seem to find the bugger - this magic button I am looking for. Is it really so hard to spot? Or am I idiotically blind?

Oh, thanks, Yul', sometimes you understand me better than I do. :) Thank you. Your words balm my soul! (If I can say so))

about "devouring it", absorbing it, and plunging into it... i think it apllies to prose as well... - diving into the world of unknown as it slowly unfolds before you, captures you and holds you within.

What comes to commenting poetry, yes, it is quite like arguing about the differences in one's perception of a painting, of the message that it sends you, of what you see there for yourself. Which is unique for everybody, unique, in fact, for the moment, the timing in one's life.

And funnily, usually, when the Artist, the Creator himself tries to explain "it" - what he meant by his ArtWork, what he put into it,what message it was supposed to send to the public, which way he wanted the viewers to be affected by it, which perception he'd like to impose on them-it gets inevitably boring in all aspects, as listening someone describe a painting you are supposed to be looking at; (you wrote magnificently about that). So all his attempts to explain fail on the way to implementing the mission which he with his very own hands attributed to himself.

But,in terms of language tools used, and the 'laws' of writing, I think they are of a very good use.:) (comments)

So thanks, for everything. For giving food for thought and 'a little more' - la chance to 'polish my english':)
And 'The passage to India' I will certainly, definitely read.:)

    yes,,,

poetry is always of subjective perception, art in general. da vinci claimed that art (his paintings in particular) communicated direct messages, unlike poetry, which is why art is superior to poetry; you can't argue about whether this is plain yellow or with a hint of ochre or lemon yellow or egg yolk yellow - whichever it is - but you can.

comments aren't about information, they are about perception; he sees your poetry as egg yolk, you think it pastel. who cares? arguing about poetry is bad taste. have a look at 'the passage to india' - at the beginning you've got a marvellous example of how you should enjoy poetry -- plainly devouring it, its sounds and images.

moreover, i believe your poetry is first and foremost therapy - for your own self; getting emotions and thoughts out of your system; cleansing it so to say.

so don't bother about comments; hopefully your little etudes have already done what you intended them to do, and a little more - polished your english.

oh and i wen't to see the happening today.

Yes, I guess being defensive about my own unforgivable mistakes isn't quite sensible, is it?
And not only about poetry.About many things.
    Thanks for advice.
In the end, I'm not so sure if they are worth fighting for.

What comes to that guy's comments, unlike yours, they didn't give much information.
Do you have anything to add?
