Nice. I started when I was 14, stopped when I was 15. I have been trying to take it back up ever since.

Indeed Bruce. Thanks for the comment. I'm certain ex wife was the key to the story lol.

On second thought, I could shift senses from "listen to your dragon's breath" to "smell for your dragon's breath" and perhaps it could then fit within a schema to which more people could relate. ;)

Alas, it appears my imagined poetry audience remains those highly closeted entities dwelling for the most part within the aether of the collective subconscious.

I suspect many of your own seemingly unfathomable works leave a more sustained impression than most of us generally puzzled readers might first realize and there is something to be said for for the efficacy of not talking down to children.

Thanks for the visit and comment, my friend. I have been riding something of a whirlwind since I came out of "retirement" to receive a State owned four-wheel drive truck with a 4-wheeler and spend my days alternately riding through the woods (or beating through the brush) and wrestling paper work in the aftermath. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Well, after perusing all the Vintage Photos that crop up again and again in crafts, books & movies (Miss Perigrine's Home For Peculiar Children), etc. etc., I realized, the narcissists will win in the long run... whether we have a name to go with the face, or not.

As for villains -- the good guys are remembered, too, but they're just not as interesting because the criminal minds are the ones we love best.
