I guess we'll see what happens with the portended evaporation/evolution of this site. I remember when... I think... when there was a lot of poetry posting going on here. I can't for the life of me remember how it was I found and started using it, but I did get some good constructive feedback from time to time as per the dictates of the overlord.

It would be nice to get back into some writing, if nothing else I can reimagine my personal relevance in the whole scheme of things. Then again I am officially retired of late and I'm getting increasingly good at it. ;)

You are of course correct, there's nothing inherently evil about corruption. I think they call it "balance" or something. Isn't there an Indian Goddess in charge of recycling? ;)

I enjoy my own corruptions, of course.

(Life) "I've been told it's terminal" - Now there's a good title for for my next poem... I'll run it by the (other) muses. ;) Happy Birthday Monad! Mine comes up on the 21st along with the Winter Solstice. I have aligned the henge pillars accordingly along with the solar tunnel entranceway into my burial mound (currently empty).
70 is good, it's simply a matter of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter. Always remember to pet the cat and put out the dog... or something.

Considering where my mortal shell relative to any expectant lifetime, I sure hope there's some shelf upon which to put myself after this shell carries on no more.

Blessings upon you and your new puppy! We've been putting off getting another dog precisely because my calculations show it might well outlive the two of us. That would be pretty sad.

But then again, such is life. There are no guarantees regarding tomorrow anyway. I'm thinking the love that can be reflected with having such an animal/friend will prevail over the forces of darkness, whatever they may be.

Much affections towards the both of you. Congratulations!
