Blessings upon you and your new puppy! We've been putting off getting another dog precisely because my calculations show it might well outlive the two of us. That would be pretty sad.

But then again, such is life. There are no guarantees regarding tomorrow anyway. I'm thinking the love that can be reflected with having such an animal/friend will prevail over the forces of darkness, whatever they may be.

Much affections towards the both of you. Congratulations!

May dexterity and prowess remain forever upon you. I can't complain, I seem to be getting better in some ways. Unfortunately, snagging a muse for a round of poetry currently eludes me, but that too may change.

I too have a rather extensive knife collection, plus a few swords, spears and axes to play with. Interesting how that works. I got a chuckle out of the Moo Yea Do entry after I read it was developed in 1980, basically because I'd fallen off following such arts about that time and consequently never heard of it (or perhaps forgot... it happens).

At our age, I read it's a good idea to implement some weight training of sorts, so I have some bar bells and weights lying about in case I feel frisky some time. I'm proud of myself if I simply get moving enough to push mow the yard.

Happy Thor's Day!

Now I'm wondering what martial art(s) you favor. No longer having any delusions of harboring competitive or even useful unarmed fighting skills, I do retain a few useful weapons which have potential to offer some degree of solace, with preference given to the quieter type. Aside from that, I do also retain an active imagination.

Kindest regards,
Lloyd

"I like to think we resemble God" - monad1 AKA Bruce

"27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." - Genesis 1 KJV

It would seem that monad1 AKA Bruce is correct once again (at least according to at least one widely recognized Divine Authority).

Have you heard my spiel on how at such time as the obviously notable progression of evolution inevitably develops God the whole question of the timing thereof becomes totally moot? Well, if not I just spoiled the ending on that. ;)

Thanks for all your comments!
