Thank you so very much for the comment "When the flower dies". I did realize when I posted it, that it would need to be re-writen. When my muse leaves half way through a poem I get stuck. Thank you so much for teh advice, and I will re-write it soon. When I have the time to sit down and take time to think about it.
Again thank you
Li
oh ha. nice one. I've tried to get into the humor thing, but I've always failed miserably. The part of it that was serious was really convincing. I liked it a lot. :)
Thanks for catching that missing "h" in How Time Has Flown. LOL---My own mistakes are the easiet to overlook! I'm a form writer and not very good at free verse. I truly appreciate the fact that you took time to read and comment. Thanks again, Sharon
Mike, thank you for your comments on "Bluebirds and Buttercups"! Yes, there are lots of White Tail Deer in all parts of Texas, although the ones in South and Central Texas are small. There are both White Tails and Mule Deer in West Texas, and in North Texas. I grew up on a grain and cattle ranch in the Panhandle of Texas, so outdoor themes are a common part of my verse and poetry. Thank you again for reading my poetry, and for commenting!
