Thanks for catching that missing "h" in How Time Has Flown. LOL---My own mistakes are the easiet to overlook! I'm a form writer and not very good at free verse. I truly appreciate the fact that you took time to read and comment. Thanks again, Sharon
Mike, thank you for your comments on "Bluebirds and Buttercups"! Yes, there are lots of White Tail Deer in all parts of Texas, although the ones in South and Central Texas are small. There are both White Tails and Mule Deer in West Texas, and in North Texas. I grew up on a grain and cattle ranch in the Panhandle of Texas, so outdoor themes are a common part of my verse and poetry. Thank you again for reading my poetry, and for commenting!
I am Canadian and damn proud of it. I made this as a joke of how we are often falsly critized.
Thanks for taking time to reply anyway.

Hello, Mike. My name is Erin, otherwise known as Soul-Hugger. You have commented on several of my poems, and I thank you. I appreciate that you have taken the time to read my work. Although I am grateful for all feedback, it is especially nice to receive compliments. I have been writing for many years, and it has taken awhile to gather a collection of poems I am pleased to call my own. But I have had too many setbacks in my life to let words of praise go to my head. In fact, I tend to be very low on myself most of the time, and my writing is the one thing I know I'm good at. And just like everything in life has seasons, there have been times when it has come easy to me and other times when I have had to work very hard to write anything at all. It is nice to be able to use the medium of computers to exchange comment and conversation with fellow writers. I will make a point to read some of your work as well, and I will talk with you again soon. Best Regards Soul-Hugger P.S. Greetings to a fellow Canadian!
