Hey there,

Thanks a lot for the comment you made on my piece "Unflappable Volcanic Waves of Unwitting Consciousness"

You are right. There is a lot of social media nonsense in many of the pieces I have written of late. The Earth seems to be taken over by screens, walking unaware zombies and faceless interactions and as times elapses I feel more alienated, to put it that way.

What I attempted, perhaps not very articulately, was to depict a rather inexperienced mind or one's mind, come to that. I have been paying circumspect attention to the way one's thoughts are conceived, how our brain, in a sort unruly manner, jumps from one thing to the next. I have been trying, with minor success, to channel such energy and in the process I came up with this piece. I do concur with the excessive use of "if only" even when I was writing it did I have the same feeling and I will get rid of or change some of them :)

Thanks again for your words,

Kind regards,

Ethan Brody
