This is a response to a comment you made on my poem "Deliverance on Icy Lakes." Sorry that this pm is 5 years late but please read it.
I do not think we can help ourselves at all. Our lives are held by the divine, by God, the Lord Jesus Christ, by the Holy Spirit. We really have no control when we did not make our selves. God made us and sets out our path, we need to look to Him for sufficiency, in fact, here is a helpful scripture: 2Cor 3:5 not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God; God is your help, you cannot help yourself. Much love. Joel |
