Thx. for comments on my "Frankenstein" piece. In writing it, I tried to go along w/ the attitudes, notions, etc. of Mary Shelley in the orig'l story. It is interesting to note that, in the ending, the monster has "given up" his quest to be more of a "real" human being, and he thinks only of suicide, esp. by throwing himself upon a funeral pyre. What a way to go out !!!
