Hi Shatila,

Thanks for reading my poem, lysdexia. I teach second grade. It's about a dyslexic kid in my class named Ben. Here's the translation:

Ben can't read like me or you
Convoluted little brain
twists words up in knots
scrambled like eggs in a pale yellow pan

spell-check in his mind goes off
like popping corn
til he finally says,
plain as day,
"screw it!"
