Thanks for the comment. I do not think the critique given was deserved, however. You said you had a problem with the last line, "to stand forever one with the broken hearted". It fits, if you read the previous line. "I loved you, and with that, I departed". Basically that line and the last line go to show that the person who got rejected had loved the other person, and then left to stand with the broken-hearted, forever more.
