I have been blind now for 4 days straight, because the damn wild black dog (lab) I "rescued" (or, that could go vice versa) was inside the other night, and has taken to taking to eating inedible things. For instance, I passed out across my bed with my glasses on, and woke up without them... searched high and low, for 4 days, nothing. Today I was vacuuming under the immovable chair in the bedroom and found a gnawed-to-nothing glasses lens. I really hate this dog.
I also found a dried set of contacts, tho, stuck to their little pink case cups, so I'm reconstituting those (I hope) by soaking them overnight, so I can see to drive to town tomorrow and buy more fvcking contact lenses...
If they work well, maybe I can even see to find a Dog Shelter on the way there... Goodbye, Humphreys, you were a bad bad butler/pet.
