All you have to do to be able to receive more comments, is to comment someone else's poetry. The reason i was unable to comment your poem directly is because they limit it to 2 comments until you comment something of someone else's. Let me know when you've done some, and ill copy that and paste it into your actual comments.
Im high, and refuse to lose my perfect comment for your poem.
I loved the poems symbolic representation of innocence and reality. The simple struggle of the mouse, for its small gain, working so hard, to succeed in its seemingly important task. Only to be trumped, slain, and ridiculed, but a man, a man of the real world, the cold world, of newspaper printings, and streets of blackened asphalt. It almost seems to represent your struggle, and indignant resignation to pursue the course of life a hardened, realistic individual, rather than the hardworking, seemingly happy, ignorant to the larger world mouse. To be honest, isnt the mouse happier in the end anyways? I dont know... im losing it now.. lol, but i hope you know what im getting at.
