Replying to "this site has died ..." Uh, I think there might be more people here now, and therefore fewer good commenters. Human nature?
One guy had an unsuccessful tactic of self-advertizing; but there must be 90% smart people in this human nature deal, because the many happy users have a technique of finding conversations. (You can always tell when someone's happy, even the determined gothic types, is it not?) Absolutely unbiased opinion here, you notice? |

you so should put that in your description of the poem.
last july me and one of the poets on this site were doing a similar thing. we called it iron-poet (though i dont recall why) and we did about 6 poems where we had the same word as a base to work from. i think all mine are still up but he deleted his long ago haha! ![]() |

thankyou for the comments on "Saffron" of course I'll be making some changes as per your suggestions, but a few things naturally must stay.
I've got this paranoia about changing certain things because I can't stand having them any other way, despite the efficiency of different words or placements. It's all about voice really. I like my own voice to be the one you hear in your head when you read something I've written, for better or worse. But once again, thank you for the critique, I admire someone who can give good advice without tearing a poet/poem apart, and likewise without dousing the pair in sugar and speaking in that "baby voice" Ya' know? Thanks again, again. (again?) Catcha later dudette. ~Keegan Ryan Gilmore. |

Hi Kristina!
Thank you for your comments on "He Only Speaks Siamese"! If you like cat poems, I think there are a total of 10 other cat poems at my site. I especially recommend "The Tom Cat and the Mockingbird"! Thank you for reading my poetry, and thank you again for your comments! |
