Hey my friend, it has been such a time since we last talked. Me and Cleo have been so busy lately it seems we can hardly get on this site anymore. I see you are still churning out stuff. Gonna have to catch up on your creativeness. I have posted a couple recently, my latest "Battle of Life" is a collaboration with Cleo - tell me what u think. It seems there are nothing but kiddies on this site now and their stuff is so - well, childish/ Even their comments mean nothing for critique sake. at least I can trust in you for some good insight, check it out and tell me what you think
Okay...completely randomly thought I'd drop by. It's been a great while. But, I've got a poetry challenge and thought of you and those with whom we used to write occasional theme type poetry. I have recently returned to school to get my teaching credential, and in one of my classes we discussed how fun it would be to have everyone submit variations on the same excuse to not go to class.
So here is the challenge: Write a poem about a broken toe. Assume you are writing for an educated audience of teaching students (or other professionals) who all want to skip class (or work) on the same day.
Just page leaping to see how many of us old timers still check in and who's still writing and posting every now and again.
Happy Spring (I guess it's fall for you?)
