Journal: !Drowning! -------------------------------------------Mood: Stop kissing my feet!    Where is this heading? I thought I had the right map but, apparently there were mistakes. What is this? How can someone sit upon a throne that they had no idea they had? Waiting just seems so....frustrating. It feels as if I have been patient long eneough. Finding the answers only to have more questions. I worked so hard at dissapearing into the background but....I still stood out. This is what was meant but, it is so hard to keep it under controll. Thanks for commenting on 'A Portrait'. With my knowledge of German being non-existent, I had to look up 'Ich liebe. Recht ausgewogen auf eine Art und Weise.' on babelfish, only to find that it pretty much echoed your sentiments in English! It's funny that you should suggest leaving the final three lines because they provide a sense of completion, because that's exactly the reason I think they shouldn't be there. They do provide a sense of completion, but one which is false- my time with this person was cut off before it could reach such a stage. I think that 'truncating' the poem by leaving them out would capture that better than a neat ending. I'll leave it out there for a little longer, in any case.
