I wouldn't have guessed this was about a deer until you say it in the last couple lines. I loved this though. It was great how you took the perspective of the baby deer, that was very creative. and original for sure. I hate seeing dead deer on the side of the road, and it makes me sad as well. I think that's why I liked this poem so much.
This is a great way to put across that message. I'm glad you thought of this and wrote this.
