I once was a man shackled up by life's merciless grip. It had me chained and pinned in a corner in the dark shadows of dispair, distrought, and depression. It almost detremated and destroyed my life. I was that man... lost in the forest, trapped in a world of my own. I kept running around to find my way out and longed to see the light of prosperity. I was your man who was alone... unwanted... unloved. That man you pointed the finger at and laughed at, because he always had it bad. I looked around for love, but could never find it - Oh yeah... I was a very sad and depressed man. The chains shackled around my neck choked me for so long, I wish I could've just take one last breath of air and lay down and die.
But now, I'm breaking the chains. I'm loosening the shackles off my feet, and raising my hands in praise. I'm finally free - no more pain and misery... no more drama and dispair... I can finally sprint freely and smell the crisp air of prosperity. The light beems down over my head, to let me know that prosperity is here. I suffered depression long enough, and now it's time to be free. I'm Breaking The Chains to do my dance... show the world what I'm made of. Those who once pointed and laugh, will be beging to know what I did to make myself so happy. I'll say, "I love myself, and I don't have to look for love, because I got it within me."
I'm now the man I've dreamed of being. I got that smile smeared across my face... I got that joy that I've longed to feel... I got that blessing that God's always promised me, and now I can stand high and tall, and show the world that, "No Weapon Formed Against Me Shall Prosper - Greater Is He That's In You, Than He That's In The World." So now as I shout to think about what I've been through... what I've gone through, and where I'm about to be... why wouldn't I want to tell everybody to:
Always stay up... I know the trials and tribulation get rough sometimes, and you feel like it's over. But it's only over when you give up on yourself. Trust in yourself and you can achieve anything. Don't listen to what everybody else says about you, because all that matters is what you think about yourself. Always strive for the best and you'll get the best in return. And when you think it's over because something or someone is gone, know that God always looks down over you, and blesses you with better. Thought that last man was good? God has something better... think your Ford is working? God has a Lexus ready for you. Thought that apartment was straight? God has your house ready. I'm telling you - Achievement starts from the heart, and work keep working it out, and the rest well fall into part.
