Love Story

Once upon a time a girl fell in love
And it filled her with darkened soul with light
For she was complete

And She kissed the sky and blessed the sun
For her heart was happy and she was loved
And her heart sang

But one day the light ceased to shine
And the darkness again took her soul
And she cried

And her pain rushed forth like a river
And her heart wept and her soul was silenced
For she mourned her lost love

And the sky opened and bathed the girl in it's sorrow
And the sorrow fell like rain and devoured her
For she was broken

And the sun she once adored mocked her
And denied her it's warmth
For she was alone

And hope eludes her for despair is her only companion
And on crimson tides she sets her sorrow free
And she is at peace

I really liked this one. In my opinion, this write would sound alot better without the use of the word "And" as much. With And at the beginning of almost every line it makes it like you are reading one long sentence to me. Otherwise this is wonderful dear. Keep up the great work

i like this, you have all the steps of love and broken hearts.

its sad tho cause alot of girls go through that and it just makes your poem so much better knowing its true.

well hope to see some more of your work
