    dotsThe Antidots

    Fragile collections of mineral dust,
    Comprise the ribcage,
    Of my departed cat.

    They obtrude from the Earth,
    Like a gothic cathedral,
    Radiating sorrow,

    Always curving inward,
    They form a dome.

And it is within this hollow place,
    That memories lost,
    Within time,
    Form an eager congregation.

    The members are few,
    And many,
    A paradox in themselves.

    And on,

    Each fruitful dawn,
    Each primordial night,
    They hold their mass.

As wind flows throught the cat bones,

    The unique chime,
    That knells the past,
    Which is the funeral bells,
Announcing the climax of this unholy church,

    Which is the homily.

    If one listens closely,
They may hear the fateful cat crying,
    Her tears of dust,

    While the memories of life,
    Back into the Earth,
    From whence all life originates.

    The unheard chorus sings softly,

    "For you are dust,
And unto dust you shall return."

This is a very interesting write
I like the feeling you created with this one
To me Animals go to Heaven just as much and as fast as humans do
There is definately a reason God created Animals before man
Animals are truly the only creature who will give unconditional Love
It was a pleasure reading this
Look forward to more writes from you
    God Bless
