dotsThere Is No Christian Funeral For The Grasshopperdots

There is no Christian funeral for the grasshopper,
    Because he is not Christian,
    In fact,
    He is not even human,

    He is an insect,
    Without feelings, ideas,
    Or beliefs of any kind,

    God means nothing to him,
    Because survival is his life,

To eat, to sleep, to live,
    Those are his worries,

Some could even say that he is cynical,

Does that mean he deserves to be forgotten?
    Does his insignificant existance,
Waiver his right to a funeral?

This is the question that I cannot answer,
    That ferments on my mind:

If there is no Christian funeral for the cynical grasshopper,
Why is there a Christian funeral for the cynical man?

This is very you colten. I can se eyou sitting down with the groupies and bringing something like this up. But then of course they would laugh at you, but I would not. It is very deep thoughts, with a wonderful twist on the ending. Me like (am I beginning to sound like someone else?!). My only correction would be to capitalize Christian-just cause it may be offensive to some.

Strange analogy - human to grasshopper?

What would you bury him in?

Kind of cute in a nonsensical kind of way lol ;)

    Take care
