    Smile me a sunbeam
    from a golden heart
    and uplift my soul.

    You are unameable,
    darkness burning bright
    in illuminating light.

In the silence of my soul
    I hear your sweet song
    resonating through me

and I am finally at peace.

    Peace is the silence
    that harmonises
    my heart beats in union.

    Peace is the whisper
    of thunderous discoveries
    that wake me up.

    Peace is the meek murmur
of the exit out of chaos
    into light.

    Peace is the opening
    of changed eyes onto
    an old old world.

Peace is a knowing of not needing to know.
Peace is a feeling of wholeness.
"Peace" is such a simple word to say.

Thankyou for guiding my footsteps home.

I liked this very much. I liked the wording and the imagery. It made for a very carefree and positive read giving a new meaning to the word peace itself. I am glad I got the chance to read this.

      Cheery little number this one

I love the stanza about the new eyes into an old world.... also the line 'Peace is the knowing of not needing to know...'

Thats probably the most peaceful time for anyone, when you don't think too much!!

Lots of nice little bits to this poem
    I liked this a lot

    Take care

ellie, i think that your poem is something worth reading and commenting about eventhough i can't relate to the subject of this kind of ephemeral peace.it made me think in some parts that your poem was about passing from this world into the endless void.the gist of it is though that you were having a dream about something that threatened you but in the end woke up to the life that you have.it is an interesting description of the processes of uncontrolled thoughts.
good luck and fare well. Ch.

It means a lot to them, as it does to you.
