    -------------------------------------------

un dia no hace mucho tiempo
el tiempo y el espacio colisionaron

    y aqui estamos

    aqui estamos

    parados en suelo sagrado
    viendo las horas pasar

    escuchando

    esperando

    sonando

un dia no hace mucho tiempo
el pensamiento y el hecho se dividieron
    dandole vida a las palabras
    escribiendolas para dejarlas salir

    viviendo

    apriendiendo

    existiendo

un dia no hace mucho tiempo
la mente y el corazon proveyeron
el deseo de buscar una caricia
    reparando lo que estaba destrozado
moviendose en sintonia con el destino

    entrelazados

    inseperables

    eternos

    y aqui estamos

    aqui estamos

    now...in english...

    one day not long ago
    time and space collided

    and here we are

    here we are

    standing on sacred ground
    watching the hours pass

    listening

    waiting

    dreaming

    one day not long ago
    thought and deed divided
    willing our words to life
    writing to let them out

    living

    learning

    being

    one day not long ago
    mind and heart provided
the will to seek a touch
    mending what's torn apart
    moving in sync with fate

    entwined

    inseparable

    unending

    and here we are

    here we are

      I know a teeny bit of spanish and had SO much fun reading this, working out the words (I almost said lyrics) because I didn't know you translated it! I really like this part;

    one day not long ago
    mind and heart provided
the will to seek a touch

I did manage to translate the first two lines.. and its just the mind and heart in spanish.. is so sensual.. the whole language is sensual... I HAVE to get my books out again!

      this sounds almost lyrical...
Here we are could be the next soundtrack to have, a little rewording, alot of restructering, and a coupleof monotonus, simple hooks...
and the next ALanis was born!!!!!!!!!
No seriously I like it and I think it really would be awesome as a song.
    As always you amaze me.
    Do ya thang, man

muy bien... le gusto mucho. yo siempre queria escrbir una poema en espanol, pero no pude. In English: very good.... I like it a lot. I've always wanted to write a poem in Spanish, but I couldn't. Lol. I really do like this. just wondering: is that really how you say "not long ago"? would it possibly be "no have mucho tiempo". i dunno - something to think about. but, hey! you forgot the accents... lol.

you are a Spaniard in disguise ~ mucho romantico and bueno (my Spanish is way limited!) This I passed around at work and your a hit with the ladies (ok, 1 lady and some guys! That's all we have!) It is amazing as Oracle says, "as always" ahhh chaaa! Love, Peace, Joy!!!

no habla espanol! ok, muy poco....Very nicely done. This was flawless in form and flow. The one thing I didn't like was the dash in un-ending, after reading through the whole thing the dash was just a big ol' eyesore. unending is alright. Excellent work D.A.T
