The popular girl has the perfect cover. She will smile But only to look like the clones. Nobody would care if someone would ever love her. This girl with no parents to call her own. The boy sits in the back of the class. Draws in his notebook. Waiting for time to pass. Begging and pleading for the one To lower from his head, the gun That he keeps in a place you would never figure. Someday soon he will pull that trigger. This girl of only 15 without her friends she'd give up her life. Her mother hits her Her fathers bitter The clouds in the sky resemble her eyes Every time its dark she reaches for friends They sing to her: "rain rain go away." They make it sunny for her every day. They call him fag They call him queer. He just wants their eyes to clear. He was born wrong. He was born a boy. Call it a defect. Don't call it a choice. He cant let himself out. He's dying inside.
