In God We Trust -------------------------------------------
If in God we trust
Then why do we question?
For isn't it a must
That our trust should never wane?
Perhaps we should consider
Whether our trust is earned
For isn't it a wonder
That from Him we've never heard?
Perhaps it isn't God we trust
Perhaps that's for the better.
Maybe if we trust ourselves
God would never matter.
the idea and theme are good but i think you could make the point better if you elaborated.. all i see is someone making a statement not really saying what you feel about the subject.. this is your poem make it sound like you really believe what your writing
I like this a lot, especially seeing as I'm always questioning God's existence. The only thing I would change is I would make it longer, go more in depth.
