The heavens have been worn down
from all the bloody messes we've made
now the sun turns red & the skies black
they want their due & so it must be paid
The sun stops dead in the sky
and the dead cry out in agony
The skies have stood idle to long
now they declare anarchy
and so they shatter
and fall on our graves
but their hate rages on
the price is not yet pain
from where the sky once stood
now tower bloody clouds
they come and bring our deaths
as blood starts pouring down
the people scream
and many die
it is the wrath
of the sky
then once all is dead
and in the grave
the heavens may rest
for the price is paid
Excellent! I like this and will consider it as a fav. Anyhow, according to the bible the sky was shattered when they expelled Satan and his angels from the heavens, and yes, the heavens are at ease and the earth has become a living hell. I could just envision such a story with this piece. Great, just great. ~Vladimir09
This is a very interesting poem. I liked it very much, and it was written very well, and very original. I've never read a poem about the sky killing people, or clouds either. Keep up the good work..
