Oh, Jenna! the emotion is there, maybe you just need to be thrown into the situation to understand. This is a sad but brutally honest write. Where will all our classmates be in four years? Will we honestly keep intouch. probably not.
I agree with the two bozos below me. This poem was very good but you need to let all of the emotions out rather than only a few. However, I loved this poem very much. I almost cried because the back of my mind feels like you want to not be my friend any more.
This was a short yet very awesome write. Perhaps you could go back and add a bit more just ot make it a little more heartfelt. You should add a stanza or two about why you'll be leaving them behind, it'd be more meaningful. Other than that it was fantastic. I'm going through the same thing right now with all my friends. We picked different highschools so we'll most likely never see eachother again. Keep upi the awesome work and I'll keep reading.
