Description: deep dark deathly pool
paddling on a dingy fool
ells swirl under banks
eating ones with no thanks
river rites -------------------------------------------
river nights
flowing near
seeking what i cannot bear
Arab boy swims over dune
gazing down at twinkling moon
over space over time rivers bend and intertwine
finding what it found before, but lost what I could fear no more.
The imagery in this poem is completely amazing, and it added so much to this piece. I agree with everything that Charlese said because it truly is beautiful . . . . . . . and it causes me to bring out beautiful memories that I thought were once lost forever. It's crazy how the human mind thinks. HOe their thoughts fade but, when reached out to, they can be brought back within seconds. Overall, great job on this piece.
I like this. This is really beautiful. The format fits the subject of the poem just right. I can't really describe it...but it's like when you see something and you just go "That's beautiful", but you don't really know all the reasons why it's beautiful.
