pretty much self explanitory. i'm not an angry, or hating person. the only person i have ever intentionally hurt....is me.

    dotsslash & burndots

    slash & burn,
my insignificant truths are not enough
to quiet fires started long ago.
this bloody blade and my blazing torch
    together we battle the world
retreat to where familiar darkness rules
and no one sees my scars

    slash & burn
where red rivers turn to brown
    a beauty equaled by nothing
    stubborn empty promises
find a way to kill some time
lies and hate fill the void
    crawling in abandoned ruin

    slash & burn
    though cold and tired
    bleeding and lonely
    slash & burn

    One last time

I like those lines the best. They're sum it all up, and then there's the clenching 'one last time' that just makes you hold your breath subconsciously! It's a very beautiful poem. Though sad, it brings back memories long forgotten, I think. That may be good or bad, but in this case sadness is...emancipating?
