    His Mane,
    Dancing around my peaceful face.

    I need another word to fit in there other then peaceful. I just couldn't think of anything.

    Smiling down at horse and human.

    His Eyes,
    Full of spirit and freedom.

    His Mane,
    Dancing around my peaceful face.

    My Body,
    Hold on for dear life.

    My Heart,
    Matching the beat of is pounding hooves.

      No need to use any other word, it works as: Dancing around my face.Maybe, Dancing 'round my face.
    This may fit better with the following line:Hold on......
    If not maybe change the line: Hold on for dear life.
    Nice use of space. Nice poem.
