    Description:
I spent a couple of weeks alone in the hills. Just smoking and writing( oh, and the scotch too). It was perfect and I totally recommend it. This poem is my ode to all the great writing I did those days. Cody's dream.

    Cigarette smoke
    And archaic scotch
    Feeling totally trashy
    And sophisticated enough
    To not choke

    Solitude for
    Weeks? Or Months?
    Losing time in my senses
    Forgetting never felt so good
    Learning more

    Inspiration
    Conveying thoughts
    Forgotten they were supposed
Canít help but remember the weak
    Elation

    My serenity
    Isolation
    Sweet intellectual chic
    Frail and strong admirable
    Fallen idol

This is great. Your description reminds me a bit of Desolation Angels by Kerouac (my favorite Kerouac book)in which he's a fire lookout in the mountains. I suppose it's the solitde and writing that makes them similar. I love "Feeling totally trashy/And sophisticated enough/To not choke."
