Description: this is about me seeing chris after two years, and realizing everything that i've discribed in the poem.
Two years -------------------------------------------
2 years have gone by
I can’t believe that it’s been that long
Its seems like just yesterday
When I last saw you
I remember saying good-bye
Like it was yesterday
The pain has dulled over the long months
But its still there
I don’t think that it’ll ever go away
I remember crying and whispering
If only I didn’t have to move away
I also remember you telling me that it was okay
That everything happens for a reason
Now I realize what you truly meant
I know that I needed to mature and change
And that would have not happened there
Now seeing you again after so long
Has told me that you’ll always have a special place in heart
After all you were my first love
i like this poem. its more like a stoy though. it made me feel.. well i dumped my boyfriend a few weeks ago and it reminded me of that. The line I 'remember crying and whispering' touched me. it reminded me when i cried and whispered the painful words to him that it was over. i no i was a different stiuation but still.. i like this poem. maybe you could improve it by making it rhyme or give it a beat or something. well this was my 1st ever comment. lol well done
