The wolf wanders aimlessly
through his domain
king of his life and all his space
he is graceful and mystical
he is mysterious and quiet
do you hear his midnight cry?
his mission to find a mate
a love that last
he wanders alone through time and space
searching for fulfillment
Howling out his loneliness
Hopeing for a return of his call
Do you hear his call?
he tires of his freedom
as he longs for love
Loseing his faith in his strength
lost in a world unknown to him
Can you hear his call?
he wants to know his own plan
To know where he belongs
And how lives in world full of hate
A world full of sorrow and pain
Where brighther tomorrows don't exist
Can you hear his call?
Maybe one day his pain and sorrow
Will be washed a way
Maybe his mate will answer his cry
Maybe the world wil no longer
his shout for his mournful plead
To the moon above the earth
High above
Okay, this was a poem that gave me butterflies....because my boyfriend has an obsession with wolves and just the way this poem was written, so dark yet beautiful totally reminded me of him when we first met. Truely amazing poem, going on my fav's.
This is showing up, well, doubled, did you enter it twice on accident? Might want to fix that if you did. Otherwise its' pretty good, not my style but everyone to their own. Its good that it was about an animal since most of the entries here are about the lives of humans, it's unique. Never give in to mediocrity. I also want to say that at some points i was thrown off because of typos, you may want to proof read your works before posting them so the reader doesnt get fustrated. Otherwise, lovely, keep up the good work.
