Description: I made this up as I was singing my baby girl to sleep. Luckily, she fell in love with it and now it's a ritual to sing this to her every night before bed. Something for her to pass on to her children. Crazy how that works.
Close your eyes It's time for bed The Sun has gone to rest
Yahua is watching over us Rest your weary head
Good Night Sleep Tight It's time for bed Tomorrow will be new
Good Night Sleep Tight Close your eyes
Dream of peaceful dreams Dream of peaceful dreams
Did you by any chance mean 'Yeshua' in the fourth line? If so, this bears a more than passing resemblance to several brief songs by the Beatles ("Golden Slumbers" and "Goodnight" come to mind), although it seems to lend itself to the rhythm of 'Brahm's Lullaby.' Perhaps my cynicism relating to children in the modern world is adding meaning where there may be none, but it seems sad that children should be reminded to dream peaceful dreams when it should be their natural condition to do so.
its sweet and your voice makes it twice as nice. My mom used to always tell met that tomorrow was a new day so not to think about it tonight. I had lots of anxiety nightmares when I was a kids. I think that helped the most. I need a kid to sing to.
Thuis is really pretty I like how you let the child become more at peace by speaking of Yahua (God) And letting him know he is safe Very Beautiful I Loved This God Bless Ron
Please if you get a chance Please take a look at some of my writes and let me know what you think Thank You Ron
