Description: I seem to have gotten into a war theme lately, anyway this was history homework, it's not great but I thought it was the message that was important so I submitted it anyway.

Behind every face is a story
A past and present to be known
But not every face has a future
If the enemy keep soldiering on
Hundreds of thousands of men
Marching forward to kill or die
No time to think just shoot ahead
Don’t care whose life you end
Writing letters to their children
Knowing it could be the last time
Before running across lands of crimson
And turning their lives to black
It took them many years to grow
To create lives for themselves
To have families of their own
All gone in thoughtless second
Very good! I think you have expressed how futile war is when life is lost fighting one. I like the way you try to get the reader to see the soldier as a person with a life, a family a home. I feel your flow was good and your message was strong and well appreciated by any who want to these young men and women to be recalled for thier courage as well as for their individual personalities.
