Under the harsh light of the street lamps
That orange glare glinting off the windshields of the surrounding cars
The night sounds drumming a beat, one that sounds exotic and new
You take my hand and kiss it
We're together
Just you, and me
Our shadows are so different
Yours is tall and strong
Mine short and weak
They seperate, into two light layers...
But whats this?
In the orange light we see it
The dark place in the shadow...
Our hands, intwined, connect us
We are no longer two
We are one

I don't know what kind of comments you're looking for, and if you'll appreciate me saying this, but I think this is very cute! After I read it, I went "aww". I can imagine it and put myself inside it and it makes me feel giddy with love and happiness! ha ha
But anyway, I love how it sets up being very serious and sets the scene which sometimes I find boring, but you're able to at the end make a connection with the reader by saying "But whats this?" and then suddenly all my guards came down for having this scene set-up and I thought, "Aw, that's cute!"
