The Children and The Clouds

The children sit in the morning breeze
They watch the clouds go by
One yells,"I see a rabbit!"
Another shouts,"Better yet, I see a truck!"
They do this for several hours
They go back and forth
One must outdo the other
A little girl with curls passes by
She giggles at thier game
Then asks if she can play
They boys say,"Sure, Why not?"
And their close friendship forms
Years later after graduation
That blond-haired girl points to the sky
She says,"I see a car!"
One boy yells,"No, I see a church!"
The other shouts,"I see us, together forever!"
Five years later after the wedding
The blond-haired girl looks up to the sky
She says,"I see a groom."
One boy says,"I see the wedding limo."
The other boy says,"I see my bride & I together."
Three years later at the hospital
That blond-haired girl has triplets
One boy comes to visit
The other boy gushes like a proud father should
The mother looks outside her window at the sky
She syas,"I see a crib."
One boy says,"I see 3 crying babies."
The other boy says,"I see our beautiful family together."
Seven years later those kids are in the grass
The blond-haired girl points at the clouds
She says,"I see mommy."
One brother says,"I see daddy & our uncle."
The other brother says,"I see all 6 of us together forever!"
