It was you on my mind, you on the walls It was you everywhere. I can’t remember you now Blonde? Brunette? Did you even have hair? Amazing how things changed, how I changed! I used to smile before and now I can’t stop laughing. ‘Cause Jane, Susy, Fiona and all of them Stay overnight and on my bed we do a little friction-dancing! To you I use to say “I’ll call you at ten.” Now I get numerous messages on my phone from girls And, I don’t remember them! These days when I’m walking down ‘Boulevard 69’ I think of you and how much I really loved you… I remember you giving me the “can’t love you-let’s be friends” shi*. Tables have turned, you feel lonely and solitarily you sit. It all changed when I went to bed with your best friend; She enjoyed it and spread word about my magic stick. Since then all I did was sit around and they came and Turned me into a college hottie from a soccer freak! Word’s that you are telling people you had turned me down Guess what, it has become the year’s best joke! You turned your back on my true love and now You’re and outcast, you’re friendless and Jeez! You were even dumped by that nerdy bloke! |
This was a great poem. I love the imagery in it. This was my fave part: It was you on my mind, you on the walls It was you everywhere. I can’t remember you now Blonde? Brunette? Did you even have hair? ^ It is so true because it is what we all go through . . . . . . memories fading. ~ Gotham Freak ~ >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> >>> | Posted on 2006-07-10 00:00:00 | by GothamFreak | [ Reply to This ] | HAHAHAHAHAHA, that's ROADKILL!!!
