Description:

ok. i was up late last night. and i was bored.. and i wrote this.

The Quest of Love

Looking everywhere
I haven't see the man
that I should be in love with
for eternity

Many boys come and go
few men do I actually get to know
while on this quest I am still
where are you, love?
where are you?

I've looked up hills and mountains a plenty
down valleys through rivers galore
yet I haven't found him
he must have slipped right under my nose.

who is this man I seek?
where is the man I search?
heavens above will you tell me?
I'm not having any luck
searching on my own.

Oh, Great One, I implore you!

Does he have green eyes or blue?
brown eyes or those the color of the moon?
wear baggy pants and long shirts?
or cowboy boots and a hat
to hide his thoughts?

Is he fat or skinny?
Do buttons give way during his meal?
Does laugh often or is he sullen?

I've looked up hills and mountains a plenty
down valleys through rives galore
yet I haven't found him
he must have slipped right under my nose.

who is this man I seek?
where is the man I search?
Heavens above will you tell me?
I'm not having any luck
searching on my own.

Is he young or is he old?
Oh, please, Great One, don't let him be old!
I don't want an old man as a lover...
he's probably forget where he put his underwear!

Pardon me, Great One, again I impore you!

Does he like chocolate or vanilla?
Peanuts or almonds?
Walnuts or cashews?

Does he have blond hair or is it brown?
Are his hands bigger than mine own?
Will he hug and kiss me?

Oh, I do implore!

I've looked up hills and mountains a plenty
down valleys through rivers galore
yet I haven't found him
he must have slipped right under my nose.

who is the man i seek?
where is the man I search?
heavens above will you tell me?
I'm not having any luck
searching on my own.

When I'm in trouble will he save me or
will he let me wallow in my demise?
If war is to come which I know it will
wil lhe be flying on his airplane dropping
bombes here and there or will he stay
to comfort me when the battle rages near home?

in my mind I can see him
saying the big 'I Do'
this is the quest of love

For one such as me
it may last an eternity.

ah a true heart's lament. The poem is good at clearlly expressing your messege for it's delivery is easy to understand.

as for waiting for love. all i can say is Patience, all one can do is wait and stay open for "lightning could strike". There is no way of knowing who it will be intill it happens. True love is baised on there person inside and not thier appearence. When you love someone then you begin to care a lot less about whether they are extreamly physically attractive or not. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, in love, humble appearence becomes beautiful to you.
