Description:

Acceptance

I'm looking for acceptance
everywhere I go.
If only those who laugh,
who mimick and tease
would know that their ill-acceptance
isn't really teasing at all but
belittling.

This makes me feel so small
like a tiny grain of sand
on the vast ocean floor.

Always drifting.
Never sure of where I'm going.

I go to my parents first.
Since they say
they will always be there for me.
Sure they will be there
in my ups and downs, but
will they be there always?
will they?

i ask them to help and
accept my relationships, but
they don't help and
they don't accept
which seems to make me
drift even father away.

Humility seems to be common
with my friends.
It's all I do.
I never had acceptance around them.
I'm just too weird.
Too religious.
Too me.

The intent is everything combined.
I find no acceptance.
No respect.
No love.
Much hatred.

So here I am with little acceptance.
I want to be like everyone else,
but then I won't be me.
I won't be Elisheva.
Was I really?

I question all things.

Who am I really?

When readign this its almost like you are accepting you're self by having written this poem.
Finding ones true self is a long road I think you will do good to travel well. My fav part is :

This makes me feel so small
like a tiny grain of sand
on the vast ocean floor.

Always drifting.
Never sure of where I'm going.

It is the perfect discription of the feeling.
I like this poem and keep going.

I meant, "You wrote another Great Piece". Anyway, Keep being You, don't let others make you feel bad for being You; They find delight in making fun of people with big dreams, and kind hearts.

I love how you describe things. You wrote another piece; You're very articulate as well.
