    dotsThe Last Day of Summerdots
    -------------------------------------------

    Life passed me quickly.
    She rode swiftly past,
    On a pretty white horse.
    And I am left behind,
    Hearing every slamming door.

    I was in the dust.
    Every moment planned,
    But she was already gone.
    And yet here I choke,
    As the hooves roll on.

    Never any richer,
    And always none the wiser,
    Life had passed me by.
    And I stand alone,
    Not ready to die.

    But time passed quickly,
    I lost my every chance.
    Gambled with my life.
    I lost my every bet,
    And life passed me by.

    I can't turn back,
    Never goodbye.
    It's too late now,
    I gambled my life.
