    dotsGod Knows Ironydots
    -------------------------------------------

    God knows irony.
    In love, He granted free-will.
    Man chose to hate Him.

    God formed Man from dust,
    breathing life, in His image.
    Man just blew God off.

    God granted Man sight.
    Mankind blindly embraced death,
    then refused to see.

    God granted hearing
for Man to get His message.
    Few chose to listen.

    God reached down to Earth
    to pull Man from destruction.
    Man nailed Christ's hands up.

    God knows irony.
The cross Satan killed Christ on
    conquered Sin and Death.

This is very controvercial...it's not necceceraly true. Many people act like they don't care or hate God but inside themselves they know who they trust & believe in.I think that's basically what it comes down to in the end.Well,im Chistian so im just putting myself into other people's shoes all the time.
Maybe they're just not sure.I mean, you can't hate someone you don't know..or might not even exist.

    Irony is like karma.
So i guess we should all just watch our backs in everything we do just in case.Just because you can't see, feel, hear, believe in anything doesn't mean it can't come back and bite you.

Interesting write. Thanks fro sharing your thoughts & beliefs.

This is a very interesting topic that you have chosen to write about. It is ever so pertinent to this world we live in and the things we do.

    The crticisms:
Firstly, i assume you're not an atheist, probably a religious Christian? Anyway, I'm not sure how it goes in your mythology, but the use of the word MAN and MANKIND provide a very sexist view of the world, portraying MAN as all powerful...Humankind, and people would be neutral terms.
    Apart from that, great job!

    The praise:
The irony is really well demostrated, I like the Jesus Christ example, though I don't believe in a lot of the historical aspect associated with it.
I think the message comes across clearly to the reader, the communication is there...
    Keep writing
    Respect,
    Mihir

      haha this is awesome
i always say that irony is not wasted on me and well... im guessing in light of this write its not wasted on God either.

i really like how you list irony after irony...
so many reasons that god could smite us or inflict some kind of pain or revenge or something... (knowing that hes not into that but you know... i mean... if i was god and there were all those fingers pointing i would bite them off... i guess...)
i like how you build and build and build and BAM!
    thats grace... right there...
you have shown Gods grace and mercy towards mankind in a very real and personal way... i really like that a whole lot.

i love how each of your stanzas have the potential for great depth if the reader chooses to explore them... kinda like a dot to dot but also a whole entire research project too...

    God knows irony.
    In love, He granted free-will.
    Man chose to hate Him.

    in the big freewill debate...
if i was god i dont think i would give mankind freewill but then that wouldnt be all that loving really would it... i would be too jealous to watch the thing i love most flirting with everything and everyone other than me... that would be too hard for me to take and yet thats what we do with god...
and to think he gave us freewill out of love...

i could go through every single stanza and have something new and different to say but im low on time so yeah...

i really admire you and respect you and your words...
i shall have to make sure i come back more often... im on the home straight of my trip... i have less than a month left in the states before heading home and seeing my family and friends after 10months of being away... man...
    see ya round sometime soon
    ciao for now

Ok, this was pretty good, but as a free-thinker and agnostic, I want to say, that I do read the bible, and in the bible Satan did not kill Jesus, the Jews, his own men of his own religion, killed him. Just wanted to point that out.
Over-all, I thought it was pretty good and it did show how people can completely and arrogantly, turn there backs on him without ryhme or reason. This is definitely a thought provoking write. To me, both God and man know irony, for the bible says one thing, yet the church makes its own theories and turns what the bible says backwards. If you have any questions on that you can just message me if you like, but hopefully you get what I mean.
    Well, peace for now...

I like this, how true it is that for those who believe in Godm how many have turned their backs and chose not to believe.

I think that this was great but I also think that it could be extended a little.

    Anyway great write

I like it. I've never seen anyone point this out before. It's a unique way of looking at the action attributed to a divine being. Your statement could support the idea that, because god knows irony, man is made in his image, and art is the direct result, or the theory that god does not exist because this "irony" is merely coincidence. If this latter idea were the truth, (if such a finite "truth" does exist) think how terribly sad it would be for those firm believers in the ultimate plan.
Great piece. It provokes thought, if nothing else.

This is a very good piece. Well-written about God's love and the conquering of sin. It gives the reader a sense of hope. Its a great feeling.

Hey all, I'm just trying to get my reciprocation up. I'm down in the -'s pretty far. So, don't feel the need to comment on my work. I'm trying to get back into the swing of things at Elite. Think of it as a favor from me to you! Thanks for the read!
